Training & Operational Readiness Coordinator

- Coordinate, maintain, update, and facilitate New Employee Orientation, as necessary.
- Perform and coordinate the development and completion of written Technical Trainings and practical knowledge verification testing for Employees.
- Work with subject matter expert (SME) / process owner to ensure Reference Documents relevant to scope are accurate, learner centered and able to be rolled out within the defined timeline.
- Ensure employees are trained in accordance with the formal Training Program process on role specific WI/SOPs, process, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Prepare training materials and reference documents for Employees.
- Coordinate cross-training and progression programs working with Leads, Supervisors, or Managers.
- Develop/practice training programs for employees based on business and department needs.
- Coordinate and track employee’s training program completion and re-certification programs.
- Review and recommend appropriate training and development programs as needed.
- Maintain all records documenting training and competencies.
- Participate in Audits as needed.
- Work within the scope of the formal Training Program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area which includes observing and following all safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment on the plant floor (protective footwear, eyeglasses, hard hats, and clothing as needed).

- Proficiency in use of database applications, web tools, and e-Learning tools.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and CPro.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-to-5-year experience in training and organizational development preferred or 3-to-5-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean trained with practical implementation experience strongly preferred.
- Train the Trainer Certification a plus.
- Occasionally required to stand.

- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
- Continually required to talk or hear.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually incredibly quiet.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.
