- Troubleshoot and maintain voice, data, and video network systems
- Creates and provides documentation for hardware and software solutions being deployed and in place.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and responds to telecom performance degradations and service interruptions.
- Works closely with an infrastructure team to provide business solutions.
- Assesses risks and potential impacts of changes, outages or issues.
- Complies with network and security standards.
- Identify and manage telecom services across all Shooting Product sites.
- Troubleshoot issues and submit trouble tickets to service providers as needed.
- Procure services and/or equipment for mobile, VoIP and Telepresence as needed.
- Work with the finance department to process billing and payments for telecom services at all sites.
- Create policies to support business processes and/or business need.
- Submit monthly utilization and billing reports to IT leadership and business partners.
- Configure VoIP, Telepresence, and Analog Devices through hosting provider's Cisco CUCDM Admin Portal.
- Work with end users and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Create documentation and provide training on all systems and devices as needed.
- Manage telecom consolidation and integration projects.
- Manage video teleconferencing room expansion projects.
- Identify areas to improve the telecom environment, and lead any/all telecom system enhancement projects.
- Work with preferred local low voltage contractors to document site specific wiring plans or configuration diagrams.
- Provides off-hours support as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent post high school education and/or work.
- 1-3 years experience in the Telecom/Network industry.
- Working knowledge of networking/telecom environment (such as Nortel, AVAYA, Cisco, IP, routing protocols, etc.).
- Ability to apply working knowledge of industry standards and best practices. i.e.: BICSI, TIA.
- Ability to manage a small to medium sized infrastructure project.
- PC and/or server skills are a plus.
- Microsoft application skills are a plus.
- Cisco CCNA desired, but not required.
