Job Description:Job SummaryWe are looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Professional Counselor to support our client, UCOR in Oak Ridge, TN.Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 6:30am - 5:00pmThe Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides assistance to individuals needing social and human services as well as case management. The LCSW will treat in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols established by industry standards of practice, licensing, certification, and other regulatory agency requirements. Responsible for implementing educational programs, assessing concerns, and determining appropriate types and methods of treatment and referral.
Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health and mental health consultation, counselling, and case management to employees and assist in securing/referring for additional support/care/treatment as appropriate.
  • Maintain a pool of external mental health and substance abuse resources, identifying viable and reliable local solutions and developing professional relationships to better facilitate worker support.
  • Coordinate case management and patient follow-up assisting with local and state services available to different patient populations.
  • Assist with the management of a substance abuse program, working with on-site substance abuse personnel to facilitate successful implementation and progression.
  • Work with the Medical Review Officer and associated medical staff to ensure success of any associated random drug and alcohol testing when appropriate.
  • Interface with the workforce, management, Department of Energy, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Engage with Behavioral Health Team, assisting with program success, future development, and workforce and community engagement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of mental health and substance abuse, providing counselling and guidance to management on associated issues.
  • Provide professional advice for Health Services, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and the Legal and Risk Management department for matters involving mental health and/or substance abuse.
  • Ensure confidentiality, accurate documentation, and record keeping compliant with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • May be required to assist in ancillary office/clinic duties such as scheduling, generating reports, assessments, metrics, etc.
  • Provide training, education, and presentations on related mental health/substance abuse topics to staff as requested.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Must have completed an accredited counseling graduate program in Social Work accredited by Council on Social Work Education and independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor as required by the state of Tennessee. with unencumbered licensing/certification as a Mental Health Service Provider as required by the state of Tennessee.
  • Must have successfully passed the Association of Social Work Board's clinical licensing exam.
  • Preferred 2-3 years’ experience in mental health, substance abuse counseling (individual and group) and case management.
  • Familiarity in occupational health setting preferred
  • Preferred Employee Assistance Program experience with Certified Employee Assistance Profession credential.

Computer Skills
  • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.
Physical Demands
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
  • Some bending and stretching could be required.
  • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Additional Job InformationThis is a full-time position and will work from our on-site clinic in Oak Ridge, TN.This position has an hourly pay range of $42- $46 per hour.
