Montessori Primary Teacher

• Observe and evaluate students' academic performance, behavior, and social/emotional development.
• An ability to teach groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilities.
• Patience and excellent observational, communication, and diagnostic skills.
• The ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• A lifelong learner who can be a good role model for children.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.

• Bachelor?s degree in education, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Montessori 3-6 Credential from a MACTE accredited institution preferred.
• IVP Level 1 fingerprint clearance card required.
• CPR/First Aid required
