- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within the parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, as well as standard accepted practices.
- Post available job openings, reply to applications submitted, and schedule interviews for open/advertised job positions.
- Provide detailed training for all technician crew new hires. Provide regular refresher training to the current technician crew to maintain job performance.
- Observe and complete random checks on repair order jobs to ensure crew performance is up to Simply Yachts, LLC. standards.
- Keep track of scheduled or ongoing activities with all technician crew members. Make adjustments with the crew as needed to maintain time management and performance.
- Delegate appropriate crew members to take photos/videos of before, during, and after each repair/installation on vessels. Confirm photos/videos are uploaded to appropriate job tracking/performance activities and share them with the office for social media posts.
- Accurately diagnose and perform required repairs with proper documentation of all work performed.
- Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form for each vessel.
- Perform all levels of preventive and routine maintenance services.
- Ability to Quality Check work after repairs to ensure the vessel is fixed correctly.
- Vessel inspections after repairs are performed.
- Communicate with other staff when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
