Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate disorders and delays that affect students’ ability to perform daily activities and reach their educational goals Develop/improve individual’s ability to independently perform tasks
Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns
Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
Maintain appropriate records
Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
Perform other OT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
Job Requirements:
CA OT LICENSE (or ability to obtain)
NBCOT CERTIFICATION
This is a full-time position in an for K-12 School District. The OT will evaluate students and implement and document care.Benefits:
