Through the passion of our specialists, we continue to treat every patient with care, compassion and respect, while providing affordable and accessible services.Job SummaryThe Medical Navigator provides safe and appropriate basic patient care and administrative duties as needed, in order to assist patients in achieving established outcomes by collecting data points (e.g. vital signs and urine specimens) and other information to be utilized in assessment. These activities contribute to meeting the health care, safety and comfort needs of clients, and are performed in accordance with all existing regulatory, state and company standards, policies and procedures.Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent. Diploma from an accredited medical assistant program, Certified Nurse Assistant certification, or Medical Certification required
  • One year of keyboarding and computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of drug & alcohol treatment or disease concept of addiction preferred.

  • Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Good interpersonal/written communication skills
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal direction
  • Customer Service and detail oriented
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Able to function as a member of a team
  • Familiarity with Alcoholics (or Narcotics) Anonymous 12-Step Program.
  • Previous experience working in the substance abuse or mental health fields.
