- Part-time, Day Shift
- Positions are open on an ongoing basis in the Transplant areas of Kidney, Liver, Lung, Transplantation, and Medical Specialties.
- 12 to 19.5 hours per week during the school year; increased hours during summer quarter.
- This individual will perform general office functions: enter data into the records management software; update various logs, spreadsheets, and databases to track office activity/client interactions; perform special projects and other tasks as assigned.
- Data entry
- Preparing clinical information for selection committee
- Sending multiple communications to our referring MDs
- Submitting information to regulatory agencies
- Preparing educational and discharge packets for both patients and community providers
- Must be a student currently enrolled at the University of Washington (preferred sophomore or junior). To be employed as a student, the student must meet the following minimum enrollment requirements (not including correspondence credits): Undergraduate students - 6 credits. Be approved for “On Leave” status. Student employees are limited to working 19.5 hours per week when classes are in session. Student employees may work more than 19.5 hours per week during school breaks or when "on leave." A student can work as a student assistant for one quarter while on leave. Students may be considered "on leave" as follows: Undergraduates - For one quarter immediately following a quarter in which the student was enrolled for at least 6 academic credits (this includes summer quarter).
