- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of low to medium Strategic Sourcing initiatives and the implementation of category strategies.
- Supports Global Category Managers Of in the execution of their regional and global sourcing events that are high complexity across all assigned categories including sourcing administration and event support. Use defined strategic sourcing methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure a fair, open and competitive sourcing process.
- Supports Global Category Managers Of in the development of their regional and global sourcing strategies that are high complexity across all assigned categories.
- Collaborates with Business Partners to drive value for the business while maintaining high quality service standards. Builds trust with key Business Partners to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Responsible for Business Partner relationship management up to the AVP/VP level.
- Participate in the development and execution of contracts and ensuring compliance to TJX Approval Authority Schedule and Audit requirements.
- Development of negotiation strategy to execution of negotiations.
- Actively participates in and/or leads Global Category Management Teams for assigned categories establishing solid partnerships with our Global peers and colleagues.
- Monitors and reports category-specific savings and performance metrics.
- Present new sourcing strategies to drive cost savings; recommends new ways to manage demand through process re-design.
- Bachelor degree or Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years strategic sourcing, procurement or related experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience managing multiple, cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers in the execution of low to high value projects
- Advanced negotiation skills and proven experience leading negotiations within the Information Technology category. Strong knowledge of technology market trends and vendors.
- Experience in SaaS & Hardware sourcing
- Strong presentation skills with experience presenting information to executive leaders.
- Highly analytical approach, leveraging your exceptional Microsoft 365 Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- GEP, Coupa or similar e-sourcing/procurement optimization/P2P experience.
