We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant Surgery Scheduler to join our ENT NW division located next to Legacy Good Samaritan in NW Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior experience in both medical assisting and medical front office.Primary duties include both front and back-office duties such as surgery scheduling, phone triage, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting physicians, and any other duties as assigned. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior experience.Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
  • Credentialed MA:
  • Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.
  • Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour.
  • Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour.
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.No Weekends, 8 paid Holidays! Free parking for clinic employees.Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.Qualifications:
  • NEW GRADS welcome to apply. Must be certified within 60 days
  • Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc.
  • Prior scheduling experience is strongly preferred
  • Fluency in a second language a plus
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent prior work references
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
