Hotel MaintenanceJob Summary:A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or issues efficiently to minimize downtime.3. Repairs: Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts or components to restore equipment to operational status.4. Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems or maintenance needs, and report findings to supervisors.5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and any other relevant data.6. Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards, and take appropriate measures to create a safe working environment.7. Emergency Response: Be available for on-call or emergency maintenance services as needed.8. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies required for maintenance work.9. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support and expertise in maintaining equipment and facilities.10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements and make recommendations to enhance efficiency.Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require technical or trade school certification.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems, depending on the specific job requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to use various tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
