- Coordinate and perform all facility installations and setups on new campuses in preparation for campus openings.
- Assist campus personnel with emergency maintenance requests.
- Assist the Director of Facilities with the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for facilities, such as preventive maintenance and regular cleaning standards.
- Assist the Director of Facilities in conducting annual inspections of existing campuses and assist in capital budget requests.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a preventive maintenance program.
- Monitor the computerized maintenance management system and coordinate work requests with assigned campuses.
- Assist the Director of Facilities and Operations Managers in the setup of a Facilities Maintenance shop for all new campuses.
- Communicate orally with co-workers, customers, clients, or the public in a face-to-face, one-to-one setting or using a telephone.
- Work cooperatively with other contractors, employees, various levels of management, and students.
- Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Degree
- Experience: 3-4 years working in a facilities department; knowledge in Maintenance, Construction, Facilities, or other related fields. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Construction or Facilities project management experience is highly preferred.
- Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 – 50 pounds. Experience and familiarity with commonly used handyman/household hand and power tools. Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner. Requires high analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well both and in a distributed team setting, with emphasis on excellent customer service.
