We recently added a 98,000 square foot addition to our facility and more CNC machines are on the way. Our shop if pristine-clean, well lit, and climate controlled. All tools are provided.Graco Machinists run BOTH high production runs and low volume runs, depending on the department and product line. We use CAM systems to program.Shift:4pm – 4am, Sunday – Tuesday* (nights)*Work 36 hours - get paid for 40 hours! Work 3 days a week. More time off to do what you enjoy and spend with family.Pay Range: $25.32 - $35.60/hr (starting pay depends on experience)Shift differential: $1.00/hr for night or weekend shiftBenefits: Effective the 1st of the month following hire, including 88 hours of holiday pay, vacation time, 401(k) match, healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, disability pay, tuition assistance, and more!Machine types at Graco: Citizen Swiss lathes, Mazak, Index 5-axis, Hydromat, Mori Seiki, RobodrillsCNC Machinist will operate CNC mills or lathes to safely produce parts that meet Graco quality requirements at the lowest cost in a timely manner.Job Duties:
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of CNC machines within a department.
  • Adjust tools and replace as necessary.
  • Create and edit CNC programing.
  • Perform daily maintenance of machines as required.
  • Read and understand layouts and blueprints for complex parts (includes Geometric Tolerancing).
  • Provide accurate inventory counts.
  • Use of comparator, CMM, Trimos, gages and related test instruments.
  • Perform necessary side operations as required (i.e. deburring).
  • Work as a team member and communicate with machine group shifts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Have completed at least a 2-year qualified precision machining program; OR have at least 4 years of equivalent prior CNC machining experience.
  • Ability to read and understand CNC programs and blueprints as required.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and consistently maintain the performance levels set for quality and quantity.
  • Understand safety rules and regulations.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing experience preferred.
