- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their need and presenting sales options
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
- Creates relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance to ensure that they are cultivating the best possible customer experience
- Remains current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Remains current on all products and services that the company offers
- Maintaining proper communication and protocol in accordance to company guidelines

- Input all leads into the CRM for reporting purposes
- Achieve assigned goals and targets as outlined in annual Incentive Compensation Plans
- Continuously learn and adapt to the bankcard world and changes (Interchange, EMV, POS, fees, etc.)
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate the value of our product and services to merchants
- Ability to present rate analysis proposals and demonstrate customer savings
- Manage pipeline with the ability to handle future requests for equipment or other services from these customers resulting in additional commissions
- Demonstrate the ability to generate new business through cold calling, finding networking opportunities and leveraging existing relationships.
- Ability to travel within territory to prospect and sign business

- Ability to understand pricing proposals and present the information to the prospect
- Min. 2 years working in Merchant Processing, FinTech, FSP, FSA companies or similar
- Experience working directly with clearing and settlement mechanisms (CSMs)
- Knowledge of the external partner distribution models (Agent, ISO, ISV, Payfac)
- Experience managing online and application-based technology properties
- Knowledge and experience working with a UI/UX team
- Experience managing a team of remote Product managers
- Experience with Salesforce and working with Sales teams
