We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content calendar that precisely aligns with company objectives and guarantees timely and relevant posts.
  • Create and curate engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media initiatives into broader marketing campaigns, including email marketing.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness by analyzing performance metrics and insights and make data-driven recommendations to refine future strategies.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Stay up to date on emerging social media tools, trends, and best practices. Implement new approaches to drive growth and engagement.
  • Assist with crisis and negative comments or communications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics, tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite).
  • Proven ability to design compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Proficient in content creation and management software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
  • Working understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong copywriting and editing abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Passion for the needle arts industry and familiarity with knitting, crocheting, or other related crafts is a plus.
