- Ensure daily safe operations and crew safety
- Lead and manage assigned maintenance and other personnel as required
- Assign and ensure all work is done safely and correctly
- Prepare required reports and maintain data and other records as required
- Maintain the highest level of equipment up time within areas of responsibility
- Develop and improve the capabilities of assigned maintenance personnel and equipment
- Capital Project Management
- Project cost estimates, detail design for total project funding and planning
- Manage capital projects to successful completion
- Communicate and report progress on a regular basis
- Track and control spending
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing personnel to meet plant objectives
- Coordinate activities between multiple contractors / departments
- Direct supervision of Capital & Maintenance projects and personnel
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years maintenance supervisory experience
- 5+ years capital/expense project management experience
- Preferred experience in limestone mining, crushing, milling, and pulverizing
- Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques
- Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance work
- Experience of root cause analysis in problem solving and equipment failures
