JOB SUMMARYThe Patient Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for patients, acting as an information conduit between the patient and the physician practice. They will be responsible for welcoming visitors and patients by verbally acknowledging and offering assistance, inquiring about the reason for the visit, and responding appropriately based on needs, arranging for visitors to meet with the necessary personnel, and preparing and providing information and documentation. Additionally, the Patient Service Representative will be responsible for managing patient appointments, and physician schedules, and coordinating follow-up and ancillary services for patients.JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Multilingual preferred
Experience:
  • Previous experience in the customer service field required
  • Experience in a medical office preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred
Other Skills Required:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
  • Excellent customer relation skills required
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to handle multiple programs at once
  • Comfort with data entry
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
