Geo-Technology Associates, Inc (GTA) is looking for an Entry Level Concrete Field Technician for our office in Wilkes Barre, PA. If you have a background in construction and are looking to take the next step in your career, this opportunity is perfect for you!WHAT WE OFFER:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Hands-On Field Work: Collect fresh samples of concrete and conduct quality control testing to ensure standards are met.
  • Lab Support: Transport and log concrete and masonry samples, assisting with lab procedures.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared for overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Quality Assurance: Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed field reports and test summaries to track progress and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Engage with contractors, clients, and GTA colleagues to evaluate site conditions and participate in project meetings.
  • Mentorship: Work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to helping you thrive in your career.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reliable Vehicle: Your wheels are your ticket to success. Make sure you've got your own transportation, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record.
  • Work Authorization: You must be authorized to work in the U.S. We're sorry, but we can't offer visa sponsorship at this time.
  • Team Player: Whether you're flying solo or part of a crew, you thrive in any setting. We value independence and teamwork equally.
  • Outdoor Enthusiast: If you love the great outdoors, you're in the right place!
  • Strength and Stamina: You should be able to lift up to 75 lbs solo and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Expect lots of bending, hammering, and other repetitive movements.
  • Safety First: Safety toe boots are a must for this position.
  • ACI Certifications: They're like icing on the cake – nice to have, but not essential.
