Salt Lake City, UTJoin our team in this in-office position where you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, processing and verifying accounting transactions with speed and precision.As part of our team, you'll:
- Handle AP vouchers like a pro, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Seamlessly reconcile voucher info to purchase orders, keeping our records in top shape.
- Be the master of expense coding and voucher preparation, ensuring everything is in order.
- Make vendor payments like clockwork, keeping our relationships strong.
- Coordinate data entry within our accounting system, ensuring seamless operations.
- Manage cash receipts with finesse, keeping our finances flowing smoothly.
- Tackle bank reconciliations with ease, ensuring our accounts are balanced.
- Maintain organized accounting files and prepare various financial forms.
- Assist with the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Dive into accounting records, examining, and interpreting them with precision.
- 3+ years of experience in various accounting roles (bonus points if it's in the construction industry).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and functions.
- Highly efficient and organized individual.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for spotting errors.
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is a must, and experience with accounting software is preferred (especially Computer Ease).
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure with grace.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
