We are looking for someone who is:

- Team Oriented: You will need to establish and maintain working relationships with multiple parties including employees, and contractors
- Assisting in the development and implementation of comprehensive safety and loss control programs and training, which includes researching regulations, legislation, industry best practices, and County department operations
- Performing various assessments including safety inspections, site visits, and job hazard analyses; recommending corrective action, and providing assistance where possible to reach compliance
- Participating and assisting in the organization of departmental safety committee meetings and quarterly County-wide safety coordinator meetings
- Assisting with Cal-OSHA and third-party regulators in the correspondence, investigation, appeal, and settlement process as needed
- Providing administrative and technical training support for online training, or other required training platforms to include developing instructional presentations and materials on a variety of risk management and safety related topics pertaining to loss prevention, risk control and occupational safety and health
