- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, soldering, brazing, and Pro-Pressing.
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
- Review all plans for compliance with local plumbing code/ ADA requirements and review specifications and drawings to determine work details and procedures.
- Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers, lasers, and levels.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, water heaters, and fixtures such as, but not limited to sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
- Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.
- Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures/equipment and plumbing to these systems.
- Install medical gas systems if certified and licensed.
- Install plumbing systems inside, outside, on the floor level, below grade, and in the ceiling.
- Must be able to live and work in the Caribbean.
- Proof of state-issued current plumbing license is Preferred.
- 5 plus years of experience in commercial new construction and or renovations.
- Must own all hand tools needed to perform as a plumber per the list provided at hiring.
- Must be a team player and take pride in all work.
- Must be able to work overtime.
