Positions are on a part-time basis. Professional Education courses and certificate programs at Tombolo Institute are skills-based and focus on real-world applications to solve dynamic and complex problems. Depending on qualifications, new adjunct faculty may be assigned to teach in one of two courses we offer.   • Teach programs on campus (North Campus), hybrid (part in person, part online), virtual hybrid (part virtual meetings, part online), or fully online as dictated by program need, course schedule, and enrollment demand.
  • Available to teach classes one or two days a week.
  • Available to students periodically outside of class; to engage students actively in their own learning.
  • Maintain high standards regarding course content.
  • Provide students with timely feedback on their course work and examinations.
  • Adhere to program assessment practices and policies.
  • Participate in governance activities to support student success efforts and assessment tasks.
  • Courses are offered in online and on campus modalities. Faculty may be assigned to teach classes in either modality.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of experience in the field of expertise
  • Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA from an accredited institution.
  • Previous teaching experience.
