Stir Concert Cove - Special Events Attendant (Harrah's Council Bluffs)

- Enhance guest interaction and support the Stir Concert Cove events, Mid-America Center Events, Whiskey Roadhouse Events and other special event and promotional programs as needed.
- Duties and number of Special Event Agent positions will be determined for each event and a sign up sheet distributed.
- Uniform requirements will vary and will be defined and communicated for each event depending on location (outdoor, indoor), position, duties and season.
- Acknowledge, greet and converse in English with guests.
- Dress in appropriate uniform as defined for each event/venue, occasionally, a costume may be used and will be communicated with the event sign up information.
- Answer guest questions and direct their requests to the appropriate individuals.
- Hosts receptions, events and other promotional activities as needed.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy working with the public.
- Must have a good speaking voice and the ability to improvise and be a quick thinker.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance, and meet all requirements of company/property appearance standards.
- Must be able to work independently and with little supervision.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout event, casino and hotel areas.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist and balance when performing in front of or interacting with guests.
- Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate props or presenting customers with gifts/prizes.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
