- AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION, applicants must possess a valid State of Hawaii Commercial Driver's License (CDL) CLASS A, WITH Endorsement N (Tank vehicles 1,000 gallons or more capacity), and with no restrictions relating to codes E (manual transmission), I (Class C vehicle over 18,000 pounds GVWR), and O (Class A tractor-trailer combination).
