As an important liaison between clients and company managers, Freelance Art Driving Specialists provide leadership and guidance during projects, ensuring the safe handling of artworks for packing/crating, in transit, and during onsite projects. In addition, our drivers are responsible for ensuring the safety of all items during transit.WHAT WE OFFERPay: $20.00 -$25.00/HRSchedule: Start Time between 3am to 7am, 30 hours per weekLocation: Davie, FLRESPONSIBILITIES:Handle and move artworks, including wrapping, packing, and crating using appropriateInstall/de-install artworks during onsite projects using proper techniques and toolsAssist on rigging/heavy object movement with Gantry/Forklift/Crane or other specialized equipmentLoad/unload trucks to ensure safe transitPlan the organization and packing of trucks to ensure utmost safety of objectsConduct inspection reports for various types of art objectsLead a team, providing guidance and coaching during projectsAct as liaison while onsite between clients and company managementDetermine strategy for projects, particularly when senior staff are not onsiteSafely operate company vehicle; transport art to their destinationsPerform all required truck inspectionsQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum: high school diploma. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.2 + years experience within the fine arts transportation or specialized removals industryIndustry-standard packing, crating, and installation techniques and materialsExperienced in operation of Gantry and Rigging equipmentSpeak effectively to clients and coworkersStrong attention to detail, discretion, and follow-throughTeam player, with the ability to lead and effectively communicate instructions.
