- Understanding and implementing the RISE Scope of Work and completing all required documentation in alignment with the contract requirements
- Facilitating and co-facilitating groups addressing trauma and substance use disorder with men incarcerated in Denver County Jail
- Creating participant-driven treatment and transition plans in efforts to reduce recidivism and follow potential supervision requirements post-release
- Providing brief therapy, care management, and transition planning services for men incarcerated in the Denver County Jail
- Administering informed consent forms, disclosure statements, and assessments
- Entering data in compliance with JBBS and OBH standards
- Identifying and connecting participants with appropriate referrals to community mental health and supportive services providers
- Understanding and implementing culturally responsive, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed care
- Attending all required meetings
- Obtaining all necessary and required supervision and training
- Maintaining Self-Care
- Other duties as assigned
- This position is located full-time in the Jail environment.
- Must be able to provide proof of current DORA licensure (LAC, LPC, LCSW, CAC III)
- A master's level degree is required.
- Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance
- Working understanding of harm reduction theory and trauma-informed services
- Working understanding of assessments to include LSI
- Experience working with a diverse population with behavioral health needs is required
- Spanish speaking is preferred
