  • Responsible for general repair and upkeep of facilities to include pavilions, shrimp tanks bathrooms and playground equipment. Performs duties in construction alteration and repair or modification of items and structures such as docks, fenses, etc. Makes minor repairs to equipment (furniture, umbrellas. etc.) as needed. Assists with the set up and take down of large tents for base wide events, canopies, chairs, tables, stages, and bleachers.
  • Performs minor plumbing repairs or maintenance. Replaces busted water lines in Family Camp and/or fixes leaks, as needed. May be required to install water lines. Maintains and repairs faucets, drains, etc. in the rental campers and restroom/laundry room facilities.
  • Replaces circuit breakers/receptacles as necessary upgrading if required. Performs minor repairs to laundry room equipment (washers/dryers).
  • Prepares surfaces for painting by filling holes, smoothing surfaces. Etc. Applies paint to walls, boats, etc. Performs minor plastering. Performs repair or modification to masonry work or tile.
  • Performs routine maintenance on small equipment such as boats, vehicles, bleachers, stages, and trailers. Check and change motor oil, filters, and lubricant per equipment manufacture guidance.
  • Will be expected to adhere to Boom and/or Vertical Mast Lift operating safety protocol.
  • Operates NAF Vechicle

Must have a valid drivers license. Must have experience that provided knowledge and skill in carpentry, plumbing, painting and/or electrical trades. Must be able to walk, stand, bend kneel, stoop, climb and work in cramped and strained positions. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a physical examination.
