The Journeyman Service Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and company-sponsored programs. Your duties include:
- Completing all general electrical in-home service calls.
- Establishing rapport with customers and recommending the right products and services.
- Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions.
- Educating customers on finance options and membership plans.
- Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
- Show yourself as a professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and a well-inventoried truck.
- Participate actively in all training exercises and weekly meetings.
- Ensure accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, summary of findings, and podium review.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- An Oregon Journeyman Electrician's license
- Knowledge of local electrical codes
- Residential service or installation experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technology literacy, including basic knowledge of operating cell phones and tablets
