- Minimum of 5 years system/software experience is required -- hands-on experience as an engineer on a design & development project, including civil certification, from planning through verification and subsequent certification.
- Experience creating and following a documented development process with working knowledge and demonstrated application of DO-178B/C.

- JIRA proficiency is preferred
- Working knowledge of BA or Boeing related project execution is preferred
- Knowledge of effective Design Quality Assurance principles is preferred
- Knowledge of FAA Regulatory Requirements and / or experience in civil certification focal roles is preferred
- Experience in AGILE development environment is preferred
- JAMA experience is preferred
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
