EDUCATION
Each faculty member is required to be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas and have a master's degree in nursing or a master’s degree in nursing with a minimum of six (6) hours of graduate level nursing courses relevant to the clinical area of responsibility.

Massage Therapist - Program Manager - 001710

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
Provides instructional supervision of the Massage Therapy Program. This includes development of marketing and recruitment strategies, student advising, recruitment and evaluation of instruction, summary of student class evaluation, updating program curriculum, interacting with textbook vendors and the development of new continuing education courses/programs. The Program Manager is also responsible for coordinating advisory board meetings and monitor workforce industry trends as it relates to the specific program management. In addition, the Program Manager works closely with business, industry, community agencies, state and federal agencies and the public schools, and forming partnerships.
Assists the Program Director, in cooperation with the system office of School of Continuing Education to fulfill the goals and objectives for CE department as established in the strategic plan for HCCS and the division. Assists the Program Director in the marketing, planning, organization, development and facilitation of the delivery of non-credited education programs. Develops marketing plans and strategies to promote continuing educations courses, programs to increase enrollment.
Responsible for instructional operational aspects of CE program(s) assigned including oversight of the CE programs instructional staff, develop and monitor scheduling of classes, class evaluations, production of monthly enrollments and revenues of statistics, securing classroom locations, equipment, technical support and student advising, and teaches classes as needed. Develops, implements, and monitors new programs based on community and business need and input.
