I am pissed! I just returned from my local circle K store here in Bullhead City, Az which I frequent 3 or 4 times a week spending approx. $200 a month Food stamps equal over a $100 of that amount.Now for the last 3 or 4 days their debit machine has been out of order as it is more often than one would expect. But today ices the cake! While numerous people stood in line, everyone buying tobacco products or lottery tickets regardless of age was forced to present an I.D This is totally insane. I am a 47 year old man who was not allowed to purchase one(1)
power ball ticket because I did not have my I.D on me. I am so fed up with this I.D shit!
What has happened to this country? I can understand if I were boarding an airplane, buying booze, or tobacco, or cashing a check, but come on people, A lottery ticket?
What happened to discretion? (I look 50) and because I did not show a government I.D I may have lost out on a $60,000,000 lotto jackpot! But seriously folks, this is too much! And it get worse, no direct web site for circle K? Maybe I'll just have to walk my crippled ass two miles to the SAFEWAY from now on!!
